It features a 3.400-inch stroke, internal balance, and a 1-piece rear main seal. The crankshaft has undergone a multi-stage heat-treatment process and is stress-relieved and shot-peened for durability. It includes chamfered oil holes, .125-inch radius on rod and main journals for increased strength, and precision-ground, micro-polished journals.

The Eagle Specialty Products 430234025400 crankshaft is engineered for high-performance applications, offering a 3.400-inch stroke and internal balance. Constructed from forged 4340 steel, this crankshaft is built to withstand demanding engine conditions. It features a non-twist forging process, a multi-stage heat-treatment, and is stress-relieved and shot-peened for enhanced strength and longevity. Key design elements include chamfered oil holes for improved lubrication, .125-inch radius on rod and main journals to increase strength, and precision-ground, micro-polished journals to a smoothness of less than 5 R.A. It utilizes a 1-piece rear main seal and requires narrow bearings. The target bob weight of +/- 2 percent significantly reduces balancing time. This crankshaft is recommended for use in Ford 289/302 engines. Users should note that rod and main bearings are not included and must be purchased separately. The crankshaft snout style is standard.
