The Eagle Specialty Products forged 4340 steel crankshaft is engineered for Chevrolet Gen III LS engines, offering a robust 3.622-inch stroke and internal balance with a target bobweight of 1800g. Constructed from high-strength 4340 steel, this crankshaft features a non-twist forging and .125-inch fillet radiuses, requiring chamfered or narrowed bearings for optimal performance and durability. The nitrided surface and micropolished finish to less than 2 RA ensure superior strength and longevity, making it suitable for demanding applications. Key specifications include 2.1-inch rod journals, 2.559-inch main journals, a 1.48-inch snout diameter, and 6 flywheel bolts. It also comes equipped with a 24-tooth reluctor. The crankshaft is designed for internal balance and has a typical weight of 56 lbs. Note that this crankshaft must be balanced to match your specific rods and pistons. This product is intended for racing engines. Eagle Specialty Products also provides full rotating assemblies.
