The design includes chamfered oil holes for improved lubrication, .125-inch radius on rod and main journals for increased strength, and precision-ground, micro-polished journals to less than 5 R.A. The target bob weight is within +/- 2 percent to minimize balancing time.

The Eagle Specialty Products EAG435241706200 is a high-performance forged 4340 steel crankshaft engineered for demanding applications. It boasts a 4.170-inch stroke and internal balancing, specifically designed to fit Ford SVO blocks. Constructed from forged 4340 steel, this crankshaft features a non-twist forging process, multi-stage heat treatment, and is stress-relieved and shot-peened for maximum strength and longevity. Each unit is rigorously tested with X-ray, magnaflux, and sonic inspection to guarantee top-tier quality. The design incorporates chamfered oil holes for superior lubrication, .125-inch fillet radii on rod and main journals to enhance structural integrity, and precision-ground, micro-polished journals to achieve a surface finish of less than 5 R.A. Furthermore, a target bob weight tolerance of +/- 2 percent significantly reduces balancing labor. This crankshaft is compatible with Small Block Ford engines, including the 289, 302, and 351W variants. It requires narrow bearings due to the .125-inch radius on the journals and supports both 1-piece and 2-piece rear main seal configurations.
