This 69mm crankshaft is precision ground, micro polished, and shot peened to ensure optimal smoothness, efficiency, and enhanced performance. It features VW rod journals and is balanced for reliability, making it an excellent choice for increasing engine power and torque. While many crankshafts necessitate crankcase clearancing, utilizing Chevy diameter connecting rods can simplify installation by reducing this need. For ultimate ease of installation, Super Race cases completely eliminate the requirement for clearance work. This high-performance 69mm crankshaft comes with flywheel dowels pre-installed for a hassle-free setup. This crankshaft is compatible with a range of Volkswagen models, including the Beetle (1960-1979), T2 Bus (1968-1979), Split Bus (1960-1967), Karmann Ghia (1960-1974), Beetle Cabrio (1960-1979), and Type 3 (1962-1973). It is important to note that all counterweighted crankshafts require dynamic balancing with the flywheel, pulley, and other components prior to installation. It is recommended that this product be installed by a qualified professional, as fitting instructions are typically not included.
