The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a sophisticated bolt-on upgrade for enhanced stopping power, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. This kit is engineered with a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, eliminating weak spots found in cast or welded designs. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals for racetrack temperatures and feature an opposed-piston design to ensure consistent brake pad grip and wear. All Procomp Big Brake systems include a two-piece rotor design for lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The rotor's two-piece construction allows the outer section to expand and contract independently, reducing warping and serving as an effective heat sink. This design provides a longer service life compared to traditional one-piece rotors. The standard kit includes replacement calipers, rotors, street pads (SC5 Ceramic), stainless-steel braided brake lines, and related hardware. The included SC5 Street Pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also features CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to OEM caliper bracket locations. Customization options include various caliper colors, titanium or twin-color anodized center bells, and rotor styles (cross-drilled for daily driving, slotted for track use).
