Description

The Flyin' Miata extended lower ball joints are designed for NA and NB Miatas to provide an additional 3 degrees of negative camber without requiring a lower ride height or compromising spring clearance. This solution is ideal for autocrossers or any driver seeking maximum negative camber. Unlike slip-fit bushings, these extended ball joints ensure secure placement and can be swapped with stock units to switch between street and track alignments. At stock ride height, users can achieve between -0.5° and -3.5° of camber. They are manufactured by Bauer LTD and include the necessary nut for installation. Compatibility extends to all NA (1990-1997) and NB (1999-2005) Miatas, including the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata (MSM) variant. It is important to note that the late NB upper control arms have extra bracing that may rub on the shock body with certain alignment settings. After installing these ball joints and realigning the vehicle, drivers should inspect their suspension for adequate clearance. These extended lower ball joints are legal for competition in NASA Spec Miata and SCCA STS classes, offering an approved method to increase negative camber for racing. They come with a 1-year warranty.
