Forged Billet Aluminum Big Brake Kit

The SuperComp caliper, a key component of this kit, is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to standard ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design offers improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor aids in reducing braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The product includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic pads designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F and reduced dust output.
