Standard kits include replacement calipers, 330mm x 32mm rotors, pads, brake lines, and related hardware. The calipers are crafted from a lightweight, forged one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring unparalleled strength and resistance to corrosion. Unlike cast or welded calipers, this construction eliminates weak spots, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The lightweight 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker brake response. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, greatly reducing the chance of warping due to heat buildup. The aluminum center sections also act as effective heat sinks. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with more track use as they help wipe away heat, dust, and gases, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler. Included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, provide quicker pedal response, and offer a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, optimized for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions.
