The Tomei Forged Billet Full Counterweight Crankshaft is engineered for high-performance applications, specifically for the 2JZ-GTE engine. This crankshaft converts the reciprocating motion of pistons into rotary motion, essential for rotating the wheels at high speeds. Its design prioritizes high torsional and bending rigidity, along with wear resistance. Key features include a 94.00mm stroke, 52.0mm crank pin, and 62.0mm main journal. The crankshaft is forged from robust 4340 material and undergoes a nitriding surface treatment for enhanced durability. It incorporates 12 full counterweights, strategically placed on the arms to balance the inertia of the piston's up-and-down motion and the crankpin's rotational inertia. This design reduces vibration and minimizes bending, preventing uneven bearing contact and improving overall engine reliability. This specific model is designed for the 1993-2002 Toyota Supra Turbo.
