At the core of this kit are lightweight, forged one-piece calipers crafted from aerospace-quality aluminum. Unlike cast or welded calipers, this construction eliminates weak spots, preventing fracturing, warpage, and failure. The calipers feature aluminum pistons protected by heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and resistance to corrosion. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit utilizes two-piece rotors that are approximately 50% lighter than OEM one-piece rotors. The center sections are made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker wheel stopping and improved brake response. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they dissipate heat more effectively than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use due to their ability to wipe away heat, dust, and gases. Included in the standard kit are calipers, 330mm x 32mm rotors, SC5 Street Pads, brake lines, and associated hardware. The D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines offer a firmer pedal feel and quicker pedal response compared to stock rubber lines. The kit also includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment.
