The Proforged pitman arm serves as a critical link in your vehicle's steering system, connecting the steering box to the center link to facilitate wheel articulation. Designed as a high-strength direct replacement for worn factory components, this unit features forged SAE4140 chromoly steel studs enclosed in a heat-treated, forged SAE1045 steel housing. Every fit surface is CNC-machined for precision, and the unit is sealed with specialized CR-rubber boots to ensure longevity against the elements. A worn pitman arm often results in sloppy handling and makes proper wheel alignment difficult, which can accelerate tire wear. By replacing this component, you can resolve these issues and restore factory-like steering response. This part is backed by a 1,000,000-mile limited warranty. Please note that this component is designed for specific 1988-2000 GMC, Chevrolet, and Cadillac vehicles, including various C1500, C2500, C3500, K1500, K2500, Blazer, and Escalade models.
