The ACT XACT Streetlite Clutch Flywheel, model 600820, is engineered to be considerably lighter than stock, providing improved engine response and acceleration. Constructed from durable chromoly steel with a 9.4-inch (240mm) friction surface diameter, it boasts a 135-tooth count and meets SFI 1.1 standards. The flywheel's design prioritizes strength and rigidity, with heat-treated forging and induction-hardened ring gears for maximum life and serviceable capability. Its one-piece construction ensures uniform heat transfer, reducing the risk of warping and loose inserts. This Streetlite flywheel is preferred for street or drag racing applications, offering a noticeable improvement in engine response and acceleration while maintaining OE to mild gear rattle. ACT flywheels are known for their quality, with forged, CNC machined, and dynamically computer balanced components for smooth high RPM reliability. This flywheel is compatible with a range of Audi TT, Seat Toledo, and Volkswagen models, primarily featuring the 1.8L turbocharged engine from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s. Specific fitments include various Audi TT Quattro, Audi A3, Audi S3, and Seat Toledo Sport models, as well as Volkswagen Beetle Turbo S and Golf GTI variants. It is important to note that this flywheel must be used with an ACT pressure plate and disc. Flywheel bolts (M10-1.0 x 22mm) are included.
