Forged Dynalite Rear Disc Brake Kit

The Wilwood Forged Dynalite Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit offers a significant upgrade in braking performance for classic custom show and performance street/strip machines. This kit includes forged billet red anodized 4-piston FDL calipers paired with 12.19-inch by 0.81-inch wide drilled and slotted rotors. A hidden drum emergency brake is integrated for safety and compliance. Designed with a rotor-on-hat construction, this kit provides both strength and a custom performance aesthetic. It's engineered to complement existing wheel, tire, and suspension modifications, requiring a minimum 15-inch wheel diameter. The kit is specifically designed with a 2.50-inch axle flange to axle housing offset, and a 2.0 inch x 3.336 inch axle housing flange. This conversion kit is compatible with a range of Ford and Mercury vehicles, including various Mustang (1965-1973), Cougar (1967-1973), Falcon/Ranchero (1960-1970), Fairlane/Ranchero (1964-1970), and Torino/Ranchero (1968-1971) models, provided they have an 8 or 9-inch axle. Note that stated required wheel sizes refer to caliper clearance and do not guarantee wheel face clearance; always check before driving. Installed disc kits cannot be returned. A 2282-11A adapter hose kit is required and sold separately.
