The Mountune Forged Engine Component Kit provides a comprehensive solution for strengthening the 2.3L EcoBoost engine for high-power demands. This assembly can also be used to increase displacement for 2.0L EcoBoost engines, such as those found in the Focus ST. Technical highlights include a crankshaft machined for a weight reduction of over 9 lbs, dynamically balanced to within .5 gram inch. The forged pistons utilize a lightweight alloy with supported pin bosses, gas accumulator grooves, and phosphate dry lubricant coating, while the I-beam connecting rods feature tool steel bolts and machined tangs for improved bearing retention. Compatibility is confirmed for 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS and 2015-2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost models. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct tolerance assembly. Refer to the manufacturer's provided installation and break-in guides to ensure proper engine longevity.
