The AutoTec 1000549 is a forged flat-top piston set engineered for the Small Block Mopar 360 engine platform. Each piston is constructed from 4032 high-silicone aluminum alloy, a material chosen for its combination of high strength and excellent wear resistance. The design includes two valve reliefs to accommodate performance valve train configurations. Technical specifications for this set include a 4.03-inch bore, a 3.58-inch stroke, and a 1.667-inch compression height. The pistons utilize a 0.927-inch pin diameter and are configured with 1.5mm top and 1.5mm second ring grooves, along with a 3.0mm oil ring height. The crown volume is -5cc, which results in varying compression ratios depending on cylinder head volume: 11.3:1 at 60cc, 10.6:1 at 65cc, and 10.1:1 at 70cc.
