The Icon Pistons IC844-030 is a set of 8 forged pistons designed for SB Chrysler engines. These pistons are forged from 2618 alloy for demanding performance applications. They feature a flat top design with a 4.7cc volume and are intended for a 3.940" bore with a 3.310" crankshaft stroke and 6.123" rod length.

The Icon Pistons IC844-030 set offers a robust solution for SB Chrysler engine builds, particularly those seeking high performance. Forged from a high-ductile 2618 alloy with 1% silicon content, these pistons are engineered and heat-treated to withstand the rigors of very high compression ratios, boosted applications, and nitrous use. Each piston is meticulously crafted with CNC-machined crown and valve reliefs, featuring top land mini groove technology and accumulator grooves to minimize flutter and maximize ring seal. The skirts and pin bosses are reinforced with UEM's unique in-house CNC machining for superior strength under high cylinder pressures. This set includes wrist pins and spiral lock rings, but note that the 1/16 1/16 3/16 rings are sold separately. With a 3.940" bore, 3.310" stroke, and 6.123" rod length, these flat-top pistons have a compression height of 1.810". The piston weight is 492 grams, and the wrist pin weighs 118 grams. Compression ratios are estimated at 10.1:1 for a 60cc chamber, 9.5:1 for a 65cc chamber, and 9.0:1 for a 70cc chamber. These pistons are designed for applications requiring an OE deck height of 9.578" and feature a centered pin. This product ships directly from the manufacturer.
