Forged H-Beam Connecting Rod

The Integrated Engineering forged connecting rods are engineered to strengthen your VW/Audi 1.8T 20V 06A engine, enabling the use of larger turbos and increased boost pressures for reliable high-horsepower performance. These drop-in rods replace the weaker stock units without requiring changes to factory pistons. Constructed from vacuum-drawn 2-piece 4340 chrome moly steel, these rods feature an upgraded H beam design for significantly enhanced strength and durability. They are computer-optimized for unique VW/Audi engine applications and honed in-house to exacting tolerances. Each set is balanced to within +/- 1 gram, ensuring extreme reliability. They come standard with IE Spec ARP 2000 rod bolts. Optional rifle drilling is available for forced pin oiling, which increases wrist pin longevity and is highly recommended for street-driven vehicles with high mileage. Rifle drilling is sold separately. The connecting rods are ready to install and do not require additional machining. However, professional installation and tuning are recommended, and maintaining a healthy oiling system is essential. These rods fit a wide range of Audi and VW models, including A4, A6, TT, A3, S3, Golf, GTI, Jetta, GLI, Beetle, Passat, and Eos, across various model years and engine codes (1.8T 20V 058 & 06A, 2.0T FSI EA113, 2.0L 8V, 2.0L 16V ABF).
