Constructed from extra-strong forged 4340 chromoly steel and featuring USA-made ARP 2000 rod bolts, these rods are engineered for strength and reliability to support performance builds up to 600 horsepower and torque. Their H-beam design is optimized to be lightweight for a high power-to-weight ratio, making them ideal for aggressive street builds. These connecting rods are computer-optimized on a specific application basis and honed to exact tolerances on Sunnen machinery, ensuring critical roundness of crankshaft journals and wristpin bushings within 250 millionths of an inch. Each set is balanced to +/- 1 gram, and subjected to thorough dimensional and material quality control. An optional rifle drilling feature is available, which provides enhanced lubrication to the wrist pin and bushing, greatly extending engine life and reducing wear. It is critical to note that this 144x20 connecting rod set will only work with factory-equipped pistons that use 20mm wrist pins and non-tapered rods.
