The Manley 400250 is a set of forged H-beam connecting rods designed for 4.6 and 5.0 Coyote Ford applications.

These rods are constructed from forged 4340 steel alloy with a compact, uniform-grain structure for strength. They feature fully machined surfaces, stress relieving, and magnafluxing. The bores are honed to a +/-.0002 inch tolerance, and the wrist pins include a bronze alloy bushing. Each set is weight-matched to within 2 grams and includes ARP 8740 alloy rod bolts.

The Manley 400250 H-beam connecting rods are engineered for high-performance 4.6L and 5.0L Coyote Ford engines, offering a significant upgrade over stock components for demanding applications. Constructed from premium forged 4340 steel alloy, these rods feature a compact, uniform-grain structure designed for maximum strength and durability. The manufacturing process includes full machining, stress relieving, and magnafluxing to ensure consistency and integrity. Bores for both the wrist pin and big end are honed to a precise +/-.0002 inch tolerance, and the wrist pin bores are equipped with bronze alloy bushings for smooth operation. Each set of Manley 400250 connecting rods is meticulously weight-matched to within 2 grams to ensure balanced rotating assembly performance. They come standard with cap screw ARP 8740 alloy rod bolts, providing reliable clamping force. These rods are rated for 600+ horsepower applications, with an option to upgrade to ARP 2000 rod bolts for even higher performance thresholds. These connecting rods are compatible with all 1996-2004 Ford 4.6L 2v, 3v, and 4v applications, as well as all 2011-2023 5.0L Coyote applications. Note that for GT350 models, aftermarket pistons utilizing the standard .866-inch pins are required.
