Forged H-Beam Connecting Rod Set, 6G72 DOHC, ARP-2000 Bolts

The 3SX Custom Connecting Rods are a set of forged 4340 steel H-beam connecting rods meticulously crafted for the 6G72 DOHC engines found in the Mitsubishi 3000GT and Dodge Stealth. Additionally, the piston pin journal incorporates an oil groove to promote superior oil circulation around the pin. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the stock crank and 0.866" diameter wrist pins, these rods are a perfect match for various aftermarket pistons that accommodate a full-floating setup. This includes the 3SX-spec Ross pistons, as well as offerings from Mahle and Wiseco. Crucially, these rods are supplied with ARP-2000 rod bolts, ensuring top-tier components for your custom engine build. The product has demonstrated its capability through dyno testing and real-world application, proving reliable at over 800 AWHP. It is important to note that these custom rods are not compatible with stock OEM pistons. Always ensure your chosen pistons are designed for a full-floating setup with the 3S standard 0.866" wrist pin. For installation, the included ARP Rod Bolts should be torqued to 55 ft/lb using ARP Lube, or to achieve .0055" of stretch if using a stretch gauge.
