The Eagle Specialty Products EAGCRS5428T3D H-beam connecting rods are engineered for high-performance and competition applications. Constructed from a two-piece forging of vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these rods offer superior strength while remaining lighter than stock components. Each rod undergoes a multi-stage heat-treatment process, followed by X-ray, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and 100% machining, culminating in a shot-peened surface to relieve stress. These connecting rods are precision-sized to exact tolerances and sold as a weight-matched set for balanced engine operation. They feature a floating wrist pin style and come equipped with ARP 2000 bolts, known for their high tensile strength (200,000 psi) and reliability under extreme loads. The H-beam design provides excellent rigidity, making them suitable for builds aiming to produce high levels of power. The rods are specifically designed for the Toyota 3SGTE engine application.
