The innovative I-beam design is specifically tailored to minimize crankcase clearance requirements, making installation easier, especially when working with long stroke crankshafts. These rods are compatible with crankshafts featuring strokes up to 82mm, making them a suitable upgrade for 1300-1600cc engine builds and performance applications. These connecting rods are designed for use in Volkswagen Beetle (1960-1979), T2 Bus (1968-1979), Split Bus (1960-1967), Karmann Ghia (1960-1974), Beetle Cabrio (1960-1979), and Type 3 (1962-1973) models. Installation by a qualified professional is recommended, as fitting instructions are typically not included.
