This kit features extremely lightweight, forged one-piece calipers constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum. These calipers have opposed-piston designs for consistent brake pad grip and wear, and include aluminum pistons protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures. Their design allows the outer section to expand and contract independently, reducing warping. Lightweight center sections crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum lower rotational mass for improved response. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street use with reduced dust and noise. For those seeking maximum performance on the track, an upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating expansion under pressure. Customization options are available, including a selection of caliper colors and upgrades for the center bell and hardware.
