Forged One-Piece Caliper w/ Aluminum Pistons & Two-Piece Rotor

At its core, the kit features lightweight forged one-piece calipers, constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum. This robust design eliminates weak spots and ensures even thicknesses for unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers house aluminum pistons, which provide better heat resistance than steel, and are protected by heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures. An opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear on both sides of the rotor. Each caliper also includes high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The two-piece rotor design is another key feature, contributing to lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The lightweight center sections, crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker stopping and a more responsive brake feel. This design also allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping due to heat buildup. This specific kit is designed for the Volkswagen MK3 Golf and features a 4x100 bolt pattern with 304x28mm rotors. It is compatible with 2-piece OE calipers and designed to work with OEM handbrakes. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled options available), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all required mounting components and hardware. Custom color finishes are available for the calipers, and options for brake pads (Street or Race) and center bell upgrades are offered at an additional charge.
