Forged Piston and Connecting Rod Kit

This comprehensive kit includes four forged pistons made from 4032 alloy and four IQ-beam connecting rods crafted from robust 4340 alloy, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. The pistons feature a bore diameter of 86.00mm, a compression ratio of 9.5:1, and a compression height of 30.00mm, with a dome volume of -1.56cc. The connecting rods have a length of 146.20mm (center-to-center), a big end diameter of 51.00mm, and a pin end diameter of 22.00mm. Both components are CNC machined for superior tolerances and weight-matched sets for optimal engine balance. Technical enhancements for the connecting rods include two-piece forging for strength, shot peening for improved fatigue life, and bronze bushings with radial grooves. Magnaflux inspection guarantees material consistency, and multi-stage heat treatment maximizes strength and stability. For the pistons, features like pin oiling improve lubrication and extend lifespan at high temperatures and RPMs, while moly-coated skirts reduce friction against cylinder walls. The kit includes all necessary components: pistons, piston pins, pin locks, piston rings, connecting rods, and bolts (available with HP or ARP2000 options). This kit is specifically designed for a range of Hyundai and Kia vehicles, including the Hyundai Elantra N (2021–present), i30 N (2018–present), Kona N (2021–2023), Santa Fe (2012–2020), Sonata (2009–2019), Veloster N (2018–2022), as well as the Kia KX7 (2016–2021), Optima (2011–2019), Sorento (UM) (2015–2020), and Sportage (2011–2021).
