Forged Piston Set

The Mahle PowerPack is a premium set of pistons engineered for the 2.0T TSI EA888.1 and EA888.2 engines, offering enhanced strength and performance. Mahle utilizes forged side reliefs and a slipper skirt design to minimize weight and reduce friction, contributing to overall efficiency. These PowerPack pistons feature advanced design elements crucial for optimal engine function. The ultra-flat ring grooves promote superior ring seal, which is vital for performance and longevity. Additionally, the hard-anodized top ring grooves are incorporated to withstand extreme duty applications and prevent deformation under high stress. Each set includes their exclusive Grafal skirt coating, which provides anti-friction properties, absorbs impacts to reduce noise, and lessens stress on the piston skirt. Designed with precision, these pistons have an 82.5mm bore and a 92.8mm stroke, with a 9.6:1 compression ratio. They come complete with rings and 21mm wrist pins, and are intended for use with 144x21mm rods. It is critical to note that this piston set is NOT compatible with MQB or GEN3 EA888.3 engines.
