Description

Mahle PowerPack pistons provide improvements in strength over OEM pistons without the sacrifices sometimes found in other forged pistons. They are precision forged from 2618 alloy, a low-expansion rate aluminum, and feature forged side reliefs and slipper skirt designs to reduce weight and friction. These pistons utilize ultra-flat ring grooves, which promote excellent ring seal and reduce the chances of micro-welding during break-in. Every set comes with Mahle's exclusive Grafal skirt coating, offering anti-friction properties and impact absorption to reduce piston noise and decrease stresses in the piston skirt. Mahle PowerPack Pistons are an excellent choice for those seeking increased strength while maintaining a lightweight piston with OEM fit and finish. This set features an 86.6mm bore, 89.6mm stroke, and a 9.0:1 compression ratio. They come complete with rings and pins and use 22mm wrist pins, requiring a compatible set of rods. These pistons replace part number S52220409P25.
