Forged Piston Set, 5.8L, 3.670" Bore, -14.5cc Dish

The Diamond Pistons DRP-30810 is a set of eight forged pistons engineered for the Ford 5.8L GT-500 Shelby Series. Constructed from 2618 material, these pistons are built to withstand high horsepower and boost conditions. They feature a 3.670-inch bore size and a -14.5cc dish volume, with a 1.315-inch compression height and a 4.165-inch stroke. The DRP-30810 pistons include 3D milling on the crowns for a ready-to-install finish, offset pins for quiet operation, and moly skirt coating to reduce friction and protect against skirt wear. They are designed with oversized valve pockets, measuring 0.151" for intake and 0.050" for exhaust, accommodating larger valve sizes. The included premium 8620 .180W wrist pins are chamfered for roundwire locks. The ring package is a premium 1.2mm x 1.5mm x 3.0mm setup. Ratios are figured for a 3.700 x .036 head gasket, yielding a 10.0:1 compression ratio with 54cc heads. No piston weight is advertised.
