Forged Piston Set, 8-Piece

Constructed from premium 2618 alloy, these pistons offer superior strength and durability. The pistons boast maximum ring-land thickness, dedicated forgings for optimal strength-to-weight ratio, and generous valve reliefs compatible with both Cathedral and Rectangle port heads. They also feature pressure-fed pin-oiling and a pressure seal groove in the second ring land for improved sealing. High-speed brush deburring removes sharp edges that can lead to detonation, and Ultra-Modern 2.250 in. pin forgings are designed to clear stroker cranks' reluctor rings. Durable Chromium Steel wristpins are included. These pistons are available in stroker versions with a 4.000 in. stroke and a 4.030 in. bore, featuring a dish style with two valve reliefs and a compression height of 1.110 in. The piston head volume is +8.00cc. They are designed to work with aftermarket 6.125 in. rods and come with press-fit or floating wrist pins and retaining clips. Piston ring thickness is 1.20mm x 1.20mm x 3.00mm. Note that piston rings are not included with this set.
