Forged Piston Set 86.50mm Bore 9.7:1 Compression 22mm Pin

The Wiseco K626M88 piston set is engineered for demanding turbocharged methanol Mitsubishi 4G64 engines utilizing a 4G63 head. Built using Wiseco's extensive racing experience, these forged pistons offer superior strength and optimal design for applications making over 350 horsepower per cylinder. Constructed from dedicated, in-house produced forgings, these pistons are lightweight yet incredibly strong. They feature specialized valve pockets, complex dome and crown shapes, and steel nitride/napier xx rings for multivalve technology. The optimized skirt profiles and ArmorGlide® coating reduce friction and noise, contributing to increased horsepower. The pistons utilize special 22mm tool steel pins with a .225" wall thickness, and the 1400HD forging is strutted for enhanced durability. The available options include a standard 86.50mm bore with a 9.7:1 compression ratio, or an 87.00mm (.020" overbore) with a 9.8:1 compression ratio. This piston set is designed for a 100mm stroke using 150mm rods. It is compatible with the 7-bolt 4G63 engine found in 1992.5-1999 1G/2G Eclipse GST/GSX, Talon TSi, and Laser Turbo models. Each set includes four pistons, four pins, eight wire locks, and four sets of piston rings.
