The Wossner K9214DA is a high-performance forged piston kit engineered for SAAB 9000 vehicles manufactured between 1993 and 1998, specifically for models utilizing the B234E, B234L, or B234R engine codes. These pistons are recognized for their precise machining, advanced technologies, and enhanced resistance, ensuring optimal engine performance under extreme conditions. This kit includes four pistons with a standard bore size of 90mm and a piston size of 89.93mm. The compression height is 40.3mm, with a wrist pin diameter of 24mm. The kit features a revised compression ratio of 8.5:1, a reduction from the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) 10:1 ratio, which is beneficial for turbocharged or supercharged applications. The dome volume for these pistons is -24.85cm³. Key specifications include a 90mm stroke, a 2290.2cm³ engine displacement, and a recommended piston-to-bore clearance of 0.07mm. The pistons are designed with a 3-ring setup. Compatible piston rings (900XPY), wrist pins (WP137-SP), and circlips (CW24) are available separately, with the specified wrist pin diameter being 24mm. The pistons are constructed using Wossner's W4107-2 forging type, contributing to their strength and reliability for high-performance use.
