The Tomei TA202A-SB02A is a set of four forged pistons designed for high-performance engines. These pistons utilize a high-strength forging manufacturing method, which is superior to the casting method used for commercial vehicles.

The pistons feature a 3D profile with an oval barrel shape for optimal clearance and smooth movement, and their recess is shaped to support 1mm oversized valves. Friction loss is reduced by the thin piston ring design. This set includes pins, clips, and rings that are optimally designed for the EJ25 engine and are 0.25mm oversized with a bore size of 99.75mm.

The Tomei TA202A-SB02A is a set of four forged pistons engineered for demanding, tuned engines that must withstand high combustion pressures. Utilizing a high-strength forging method instead of common casting, these pistons offer superior high-temperature strength and rigidity while achieving significant weight reduction through thinner walls. Tomei's exclusive forged material minimizes excess material, preventing strength compromises from over-machining. Designed for optimal piston movement and clearance, these pistons feature a calculated oval barrel shape and a 3D profile. The piston recess is specifically shaped to accommodate 1mm oversized valves, enhancing compatibility with modified cylinder heads. Furthermore, the piston ring design is thinned to reduce friction loss, contributing to overall engine efficiency. They are 0.25mm oversized with a bore size of 99.75mm, making them suitable for the EJ25 engine. The fitment includes various Subaru models such as the WRX (2006-2014), STi (2004-2021), Forester XT (2004-2013), and Legacy GT (2005-2009).
