Overview

Constructed from forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these rods offer superior strength and are lighter than stock rods. Each rod undergoes multi-stage heat-treating, X-ray, sonic, and magnaflux testing, followed by machining and shot-peening for stress relief.

Crafted from 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these rods provide exceptional strength while maintaining a lighter weight compared to OEM components. Each rod is meticulously processed through multi-stage heat-treatment, X-ray, sonic, and magnaflux inspections, ensuring structural integrity. Further enhancing their performance, these connecting rods are 100 percent machined and shot-peened to relieve internal stress. They feature precision cap alignment sleeves for positive cap location and silicon bronze bushings for models with floating pins. This particular model has a 6.000-inch center-to-center length, H-beam style, and utilizes cap screws for retention. It is not clearanced for stroker applications. These rods are equipped with ARP L19 alloy connecting rod bolts, boasting a tensile strength of 230,000 psi, and feature a 12-point head style for secure fastening. The product is Magnafluxed, shot-peened, and sold individually. Custom pistons are required when using connecting rods longer than stock. They are rated for up to 1,400 horsepower and 7,500 RPM.
