The EMPI 16-2306-0 is a forged steel stub axle designed to adapt a Beetle dog-leg to a 930 CV joint. It features 3/8 inch - 24 threads for heavy-duty bolts. This component is necessary when upgrading suspension to larger and stronger CV joints.
