Forged Stroker Piston Set, 2.7T 30V

The JE JE-PVD-1 forged stroker piston set is specifically engineered for Audi 2.7T 30V engines, offering a robust solution for performance builds targeting professional motorsport competition. Constructed from high-tensile strength 2618 T6 aluminum, these pistons are built to withstand extreme operating environments, including high compression ratios, high boost levels, and high octane usage, tolerating acceleration forces exceeding 8000 G's. Each piston features an optimized dish and dome design, with carefully placed valve reliefs to match the combustion chamber and ensure excellent flame travel. The set comes complete with performance-matched JE Pro Seal piston rings, known for their advanced designs that reduce friction, improve ring seal, and extend ring life. These rings utilize premium ductile iron barrel-faced top rings with plasma-moly inlays and taper-faced second rings with a reverse torsional design and phosphate coating. These pistons are available in 82mm or 83mm bore sizes, with the 83mm option recommended for engines with cylinder damage past 82mm bores. Achieving proper piston-to-wall clearance is crucial, and may require machine work, including a cylinder bore and hone performed by a machine shop. To complete the stroker setup, these pistons require the use of IE 154x21 forged connecting rods (IE Part Number: IERHVD1) and an Audi factory 3.0L 30V (AVK) crankshaft, commonly found in 2002-2005 (B6) A4 3.0L V6 engines. Compatibility includes Audi S4 (1996-2001 B5/B5.5), RS4 (1996-2001 B5/B5.5), A6 (1998-2004 C5) with the 2.7T 30V Bi-turbo engine, and A6 Allroad (1998-2004 C5) with the 2.7T 30V Bi-turbo engine.
