Forged Stroker Piston Set, 2008cc Bore

The Integrated Engineering JE-PVA-2 is a forged stroker piston set that expands the displacement of VW/Audi 1.8T 20V engines from 1.8L to 2.0L (2008cc). These pistons are designed to work with a larger 92.8mm stroke crankshaft and 144x20 connecting rods, yielding increased horsepower and torque. Benefits include faster spooling of larger turbos, more power out of boost, and reduced detonation risk due to lower peak cylinder pressures, making them suitable for high-octane fuel use. Constructed from high tensile strength 2618 T6 aluminum, these pistons are forged and machined in the USA for extreme operating environments, tolerating high compression ratios and boost levels. The optimized dish and dome design, along with proper valve reliefs, promote excellent flame travel. Each set includes JE Pro Seal piston rings, known for their racing heritage and performance-matching capabilities, along with straight wall carbon steel wrist pins and wire locks. Achieving the increased 2008cc displacement requires a 83mm bore (+2mm overbore), which necessitates machine work such as cylinder boring and honing by a professional machine shop. This process ensures proper piston-to-wall clearance, potentially leading to stronger compression, longer piston and ring life, and quieter operation. JE Pistons undergo rigorous quality control, including a 23-point inspection in a controlled environment, with each piston serialized for traceability. This piston set is designed to fit all 06A 1.8T 20V engine blocks.
