The Schroth Racing Formula 2x2 is a six-point racing harness designed for formula type vehicles. It features 2-inch shoulder belts specific for Frontal Head Restraints (FHR), 2-inch non-adjustable formula lap belts, and individual non-adjustable sub straps. The sub-straps loop through the lap belts and latch into the shoulder belts, utilizing sewn-in webbing for a lighter, more comfortable fit.

The Schroth Racing Formula 2x2 harness is engineered as a go-to restraint for formula-style vehicles. It features FHR-specific 2-inch shoulder belts designed to work seamlessly with Frontal Head Restraint systems. Complementing these are 2-inch non-adjustable formula lap belts and individual non-adjustable sub straps. Distinctive to the Formula 2x2 are its sub-straps, which loop through the lap belts and connect to the shoulder belts. Schroth has replaced the traditional “D” ring with sewn-in webbing, resulting in a lighter and more comfortable fit. These sub straps are typically anchored rearward, close to the lap belt mounting points, necessitating specific mounting considerations outlined in Schroth's installation documents. This harness is best suited for single-seat, open-wheeled cars with significantly reclined seating positions. It is explicitly not recommended for use in traditional road cars or vehicles with more upright seating. The Formula 2x2 comes standard with wrapped bolt-in attachments at all six connection points, with snap-in attachments available for separate purchase.
