The Synergy Race Development Panhard Bar Kit is engineered to resolve the inherent limitations of the 1979-2004 Mustang's factory rear suspension. Ford's original "quadrabind" design prioritized noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) over precise axle control. This often resulted in excessive chassis movement, exaggerated weight transfer, and control arm binding, which could lead to unpredictable handling and snap oversteer. The Synergy Panhard Bar Kit introduces an essential axle-locating device to counteract these issues. By providing a rigid link that opposes the control arms, it takes over the responsibility of side-to-side axle positioning. This not only improves stability but also mitigates the binding and random release of control arms that can compromise driver confidence and vehicle control. It utilizes the existing quad shock bolt holes for mounting, eliminating the need for complex measurements or trigonometric calculations. The kit includes chassis brackets, the panhard rod, a cross-chassis brace, and an axle mount, all constructed with grade 8 hardware. The Synergy Panhard Bar Kit is for track use only and is not DOT approved. This panhard bar kit fits 1984-2004 Mustang models, but it explicitly excludes 1999-2004 Cobra models.
