Four-Row Aluminum Radiator

The Champion Cooling Systems MC289 is a high-performance, four-row aluminum radiator engineered to provide maximum cooling efficiency for 1963-1968 GM Impala, Bel Air, and Chevelle vehicles. Featuring a "Monster Core" design with four rows of 0.63" thick tubes, this radiator maximizes cooling power, ensures uniform heat transfer, and promotes increased airflow. Its construction utilizes corrosion-resistant, lightweight aluminum that is TIG-welded for superior strength, avoiding the use of epoxy. Manufactured in an ISO-Certified Facility, it meets the highest quality standards. Key specifications include a core height of 16" and a core width of 25 1/4", with a core thickness of 2 1/2". The tanks have a thickness of 3 1/2". Inlet and outlet hose fittings are 1 1/2" on the driver side and 1 3/4" on the passenger side, respectively. This radiator also includes an integrated transmission cooler with a 1/2-20 STRAIGHT THREAD G1/4 fitting. It features bracket mounting and comes with a 13 lb. radiator cap. An aluminum shroud is available separately. For optimal performance when using electric fans, it is recommended to install one 16" fan or two 12" electric fans, which are sold separately.
