The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 Shock FOX98224613 is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for your truck. This front shock absorber features a Performance Series 2.0 IFP (internal floating piston) design, which is crucial for maintaining optimal shock performance under demanding conditions. The mono-tube construction, combined with the IFP, effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, ensuring consistent and fade-free performance even during rough terrain or high-speed driving. Custom-tuned by FOX and BDS, these shocks are specifically valved to work in conjunction with BDS Suspension lift kits, promising a predictable and capable ride. The shocks are designed to fit a BDS 4 to 6-inch lift kit, making them an integral part of a comprehensive suspension upgrade. Key specifications include a compressed length of 13.40 inches, an extended length of 21.80 inches, and a travel length of 8.40 inches, with a 5/8 inch shaft diameter and a clear anodized finish. Mounting hardware is not included. This shock absorber is specifically designed for the 2011-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 4WD models when equipped with a BDS 4 to 6-inch lift kit. It is intended for use as a front shock absorber.
