FOX 2.0 IFP Front Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 IFP Front Shock is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road control for compatible vehicles, specifically designed to integrate with BDS 8-inch lift kits. This shock absorber utilizes a mono-tube design with an internal floating piston (IFP). This IFP acts as a barrier, separating the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. By preventing oil aeration, the IFP allows for maximum performance from the factory-tuned, precision valving, ensuring consistent damping even under demanding conditions. Developed in collaboration with FOX, the valving is custom-tuned by both BDS Suspension and FOX to work seamlessly with BDS Suspension systems. This application-specific tuning transforms BDS-equipped trucks into capable off-road machines, offering a predictable ride and fade-free performance that can handle rough terrain. The construction features a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum one-piece body for durability and rust resistance. The shock is equipped with a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft, a race-developed high-flow piston design, and an internal IFP mono-tube reservoir. This shock absorber is specifically designed for 2017-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models with 4WD, compatible with both Diesel and Gas engines.
