FOX 2.0 IFP Front Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 IFP Front Shock is engineered to upgrade the on-road comfort and off-road control for your 1953-1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, or Scrambler. This shock absorber is designed to integrate seamlessly with BDS 2.5 to 4-inch lift suspension kits, providing a predictable ride capable of handling rough conditions with fade-free performance. The shock utilizes a mono-tube design with an internal IFP reservoir that effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration and allows the factory-tuned, precision valving to deliver maximum performance. The body of the shock is constructed from 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum, offering resistance to rust. It features a durable 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a race-developed high-flow piston design. This front shock absorber is application-specific, meaning its valving is precisely tuned by FOX and BDS to work perfectly with BDS Suspension systems, ensuring optimal performance. The internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design is a key feature for maintaining consistent damping.
