FOX 2.0 IFP Front Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 IFP Front Shock is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability. This shock absorber utilizes a mono-tube design with an internal floating piston (IFP) reservoir, which effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, ensuring consistent performance and fade-free operation even under demanding conditions. The IFP design allows for maximum performance from the precision valving, which is factory-tuned for application-specific control. FOX and BDS have collaborated to custom-valve each shock application to integrate seamlessly with BDS Suspension systems. They provide a predictable ride and can handle the roughest terrain. The shock body is constructed from 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum, offering resistance to rust. The shaft is made of a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel. This shock is designed to fit a BDS 4.5-inch lift suspension kit. It is specifically compatible with the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and the 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ models, including 2WD and 4WD variants with either Diesel or Gas engines. The shock features a race-developed high-flow piston design and has a compressed length of 15.50 inches, a travel length of 10.67 inches, and an extended length of 26.17 inches. The shaft diameter is 5/8 inch.
