Description

The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 IFP rear shock is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for your lifted vehicle. This shock absorber utilizes a mono-tube design with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) which effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation is crucial as it prevents oil aeration, allowing the shock to maintain optimal performance even under demanding conditions. The IFP design ensures consistent fade-free performance. Built with a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock offers excellent resistance to rust and corrosion over time. It features a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for durability and a race-developed high-flow piston design for responsive damping. This shock is specifically designed to fit BDS 6 to 8-inch lift suspension kits for the 2014-2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 2013-2018 Ram 3500 4WD models, including both Diesel and Gas engine variants.
