FOX 2.0 IFP Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension FOX98224619 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP rear shock absorber engineered to enhance the on-road comfort and off-road control of your 2002-2009 Chevy Trailblazer or GMC Envoy. This shock is specifically designed to integrate with a BDS 2-inch lift kit, ensuring proper fitment and performance. The shock utilizes a mono-tube construction with an internal floating piston (IFP) design. This system effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, which prevents oil aeration and ensures consistent damping performance even under demanding conditions. FOX and BDS collaborated to custom-tune the valving for each specific application, optimizing it to work seamlessly with BDS Suspension systems. Constructed from a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with a clear anodized finish, this shock is built for durability and resistance to rust. It features a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for added strength. The internal components include a race-developed, high-flow piston design. The shock has a compressed length of 15.8000 inches, an extended length of 26.2000 inches, and a travel length of 10.4000 inches. It uses eyelet lower and upper mounts with EB1 codes. The shock is gas-charged but does not feature adjustable damping.
