FOX 2.0 IFP Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension FOX98224650 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP (internal floating piston) shock absorber engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road control for trucks and Jeeps. Its mono-tube construction incorporates an internal reservoir that effectively separates shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This design prevents oil aeration, ensuring optimal performance from the factory-tuned, precision valving. Developed through a collaboration between FOX and BDS, each shock is custom-valved to integrate seamlessly with BDS Suspension systems. They deliver a predictable ride, adept at handling challenging terrain with consistent, fade-free performance. Constructed with a 2-inch impact-extruded, clear anodized aluminum body made from 6061-T6 alloy, this shock is built for durability and resists rust. It features a race-developed, high-flow piston design and a robust 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft, virtually eliminating damage from rust and debris. The shock's compressed length is 15.8000 inches, extended length is 26.2000 inches, and travel length is 10.4000 inches. The mounting type for both upper and lower mounts is an eyelet (EB1 code), and it is gas-charged. The product is not adjustable for damping or general adjustability. Mounting hardware is not included.
