FOX 2.0 IFP Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension FOX98224767 is a rear shock absorber engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for specific truck applications. It utilizes a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP (Internal Floating Piston) design, where a mono-tube construction with an internal reservoir separates the shock oil from a high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration and ensures consistent performance, especially under demanding conditions. Constructed with a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock is built for durability and rust resistance. It features a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for strength and a race-developed high-flow piston for optimal fluid control. The shock has a compressed length of 18.95 inches, an extended length of 31.02 inches, and a travel length of 12.07 inches. The mounting type is eyelet with EB1 codes for both upper and lower mounts. This shock absorber is specifically designed to fit a BDS 5 to 6.5-inch lift suspension kit and is custom-valved by FOX and BDS to work perfectly with their suspension systems. It is intended for the 2020-2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD models, providing a predictable ride capable of handling rough terrain with fade-free performance. Mounting hardware is not included with this shock absorber.
