FOX 2.0 IFP Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 IFP Shock is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for your truck or Jeep. This Performance Series shock utilizes an internal floating piston (IFP) design within a mono-tube construction. This separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, preventing oil aeration and ensuring consistent, fade-free performance even under demanding conditions. The shock body is constructed from a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a clear anodized finish, offering excellent rust resistance. It features a 5/8-inch hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for durability. The race-developed, high-flow piston design and application-specific valving are custom-tuned by FOX and BDS to perfectly complement BDS Suspension systems, delivering a predictable and capable ride. This shock absorber has a compressed length of 15.42 inches and a travel length of 10.53 inches. It is gas-charged and not adjustable, with no adjustable dampening. The lower mount type is an eyelet, and the upper mount type is EB1. This shock is specifically designed to fit a range of Jeep models including the CJ-5 (1976-1983), CJ-7 (1976-1986), Scrambler (1981-1986), Cherokee XJ (1987-2001), Wrangler YJ (1987-1995), and Grand Cherokee ZJ (1993-1998). It is compatible with 2WD and 4WD configurations, as well as Diesel and Gas engine options for the specified model years.
