FOX 2.0 Performance Series Rear Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98524151 is a Performance Series 2.0 IFP rear shock absorber engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability. Its robust construction includes a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body that resists rust and a durable 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft. This shock absorber features a race-developed high-flow damping piston and application-specific valving for a predictable ride quality, even on rough terrain. The internal IFP (Internal Floating Piston) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and maximizing performance. The shock is designed to fit a 0 to 1.5-inch lift kit. Specifically designed for the 2017-2023 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty 4WD models, this rear shock absorber is part of a suspension system aimed at improving overall driving dynamics. The aluminum body not only provides strength but also increases cooling capacity. Please note that mounting hardware is not included with this shock absorber.
