The BDS Suspension FOX98024956 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 Remote Reservoir rear shock engineered to enhance the on-road comfort and off-road capability of 1999-2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 HD trucks equipped with a 4 to 6-inch lift suspension kit. This smooth body shock features an external remote reservoir, providing increased oil and nitrogen capacity for striking race aesthetics and improved thermal management. The shock's construction includes a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body designed to resist rust. It utilizes a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for durability. Inside, a race-developed high-flow damping piston, coupled with application-specific valving and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design, ensures predictable ride quality and maximum performance by preventing oil aeration.
